Henry Clay

Henry Clay, the famous American statesman who represented Kentucky, was known as “The Great Compromiser.” Henry Clay was the founder of the Whig Party and was one of the infamous Warhawks alongside John C. Calhoun. Among his other accomplishments, he was the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives.
